Next to the shops and museums Manama nightlife can be a good reason to choose Manama as a vacation destination, unlike many other cities in the Middle East Manama is a good place to go out clubbing/dancing. There are many different places to go to.

If you want to dance you can dance to the music you want to hear, from hip hop to r&b and disco to house (by world famous top dj's) or live music.

If you don't want to dance go to one of the many pubs where you can talk, play pool or darts, enjoying a drink. Some sportsbar also have big screens to watch (inter)national games. If you want to drink alcohol you're in luck because in Bahrain tourists are allowed to drink alcohol. Alcohol can be bought in special shops or in the bars/pubs, clubs and hotels. But don't overdo, because if the police find you after a night of heavy drinking they can lock you up. And lets not forget the live music, karaoke and pub quizzes.

Very positive is that almost everything is at walking distance.
